Should people spend money on space exploration?

People should spend money on space exploration because the Earth is becoming more and more polluted and some day it may be impossible to live there any longer. Even if people stopped contaminating the environment, it would not be possible to reverse the harm humanity have done to the planet. Space exploration is a possibility of finding an alternative place where people could move if the Earth became too polluted to live there. However, it is impossible without investing in new technologies, researches and experiments. The only way to find a planet similar to the one we live on is exploring the space and in this case exploration equals money.

    It's longer than we agreed. It could easily be shortened without any loss of content (see below).
    The second part of your concluding sentence is not clear: the issue of money should be incorporated into the first half of this sentence, e.g. "The only way to find a planet similar to the one we live on is by investing in space exploration."

    Is polluted environment really such an important reason to explore space? After all, the Earth does a great job of "cleaning after us". Is stopping or reducing current emission of greenhouse gasses and rubbish really not enough? Do we really need to start over on new planet?

    Are human-induced changes yet irreversible? I think if we started taking care of the environment we could at the very least try to save it, because that is a key to our survival. Look, even if we were to expand our species to other planets, we would still need Earth to colonize them and to produce some key resources here like food, so we can't allow ourselves to let it go and throw it away.

Would you like to work in the Madarin Oriental?

I would not like to work in this hotel because I do not think that I could find common ground with people who come there. They come from a very eccentric entourage with a specific hierarchy of priorities. In my opinion most of guests place money in the foreground and believe that if you are rich you can get almost everything. My attitude is actually an opposite - I claim that there is plenty of things that are more valuable. The Mandarin Oriental is not a place for me because I do not think that I could get on well with its guests.
